Our Story
We started the project ”Alba Iulia not just an eco guidebook” in September 2021 and implemented it in September 2022 together with the Polish school
Szkoła Podstawowa nr 20 z Oddziałami Integracyjnymi
im. Bohaterów Westerplatte w Gorzowie Wielkopolskim, so it is a Romanian-Polish initiative.
The Obelisc of Heroa
The Obelisc of Heroa is from Alba Iulia is located in Mihai Viteazul Street, in front of the third gate of the Alba Carolina Fortess. It was erected in 1937. It has height of 22,5 meters.
The 3rd Gate of the Alba Carolina Citadel
Is located on the eastern side of the Alba Carolina Citadel, the 3rd gate is the main access point into the actual fortification. The gate have 20 meters wide and it was build between 1715 and 1728.
Alba Iulia mural
The painting that was created to purifies the air , on a block in a congested area. It was made with ecological paints. The mural, over 30 meters high and was created by the street artist Laurentiu Alexandrescu.

It's the replica of the citadel city.
Rapa Roșie - a reservation that looks like an ancestral ruined monument
Rapa Rosie (Red Ravine) is a protected area (geological and floristic reserve) of national interest. It has area of 25ha and is located in Alba county.
Murals made by students
This murals were made by teams of Polish and Romanian students. They were made from ecological paints and there are many more.
